MAKEUP, FACIAL & MASSAGE SERVICES
In order to identify all safety concerns and implement sufficient controls I have completed an extensive risk assessment referencing government and industry guidelines in the process. Based on this evaluation I have introduced some changes and additions to my previous processes and protocols. It is imperative for the safety of my clients and myself that all my clients support and adhere to these requirements.
Below is a summary of some of the important changes and additions to my procedures and protocols you will need to be aware of before attending your appointment at my premises.
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO
Prior to your appointment:
- If you are feeling unwell, or have been in contact with anyone experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, please reschedule your appointment, there is no cancellation charge. Please wait until 14 days have passed before booking in again.
- Payment by BACs prior to your appointment or by contactless card payment on the day
- Completion of a compulsory health check questionnaire 24 hours before your appointment
FOR APPOINTMENTS AT MY STUDIO AND TREATMENT ROOM – 2 Manor Court, Victoria Square, Holsworthy, Devon, EX22 6AA
On the day of your appointment:
- Please wear a face covering
- Please arrive at your appointment time
- Knock on the door at your appointment time and await for me to open the door
- Please attend your appointment alone, I am not able to accommodate additional people due to the size of my premises
- Please bring a drink/water with you as I will not be able to provide this for you
- Once inside, please take your shoes off and place into the plastic box with any other belongings such as a phone and keys
- There is a clean, sanitised chair for you to sit on to assist with removal of shoes or clothes
- Please wash your hands at my handwashing facilities, soap and disposable paper towels are supplied, and then place into the lidded bin
WHAT I WILL BE DOING
- I will be wearing a sanitised face visor, face mask and apron for the entirety of your time with me. My hands will be washed prior to touching you and throughout your treatment with me.
- All areas, products and tools will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, ready for your arrival and treatment.
- My treatment room/studio will have a window open throughout the duration of your visit to aid with good ventilation for us.
WHAT TO EXPECT AT YOUR APPOINTMENT
Massage Treatments
- Please remove clothing and place into plastic box and replace lid (keep your face covering on)
- The treatment couch will be dressed with disposable couch roll for you to lay on, in the face hold covering and beneath, a clean sheet for covering you and a clean towel for your head (these are laundered at 60 degrees)
- Please lay on the couch face up for your welcome touch foot cleanse
- Please turn over for massage to commence on your back
- No face covering is required whilst you are face down but will be needed once you are face up
- I will be wearing a sanitised face visor, face mask and apron for the duration of your appointment
Facial Treatments
- Please remove clothing, including your face covering and place into plastic box and replace lid
- The treatment couch will be dressed with disposable couch roll for you to lay on, a clean sheet for covering you and a clean towel for your head. These are laundered at 60 degrees
- Please lay on the couch face up for your welcome touch foot cleanse
- I will be wearing a sanitised face visor, face mask and apron for the duration of your appointment
Makeup
- Please forward any photos prior to your makeup appointment so I can familiarise myself with the look and style you would like – there will not be an opportunity to show me these at your appointment
- There is a sanitised chair for you to sit in for your makeup application
- I will be wearing a sanitised face visor, face mask and apron for the duration of your appointment
- Makeup brushes, products, equipment and tools are fully sanitised with appropriate products
- I will continually sanitise my hands throughout your appointment with me
FOR MOBILE APPOINTMENTS AT YOUR HOME OR VENUE
On the day of your appointment:
- I will arrive at your home/venue 20 minutes before our start time to set up
- I will require a room of my own to work in with a window that opens
- I will be working on one person at a time, there is no capacity to have anyone else in the room
- Please wash your hands before entering the room for your treatment/makeup
WHAT I WILL BE DOING
- I will be wearing a sanitised face visor, face mask and apron for the entirety of your time with me. My hands will be washed prior to touching you and throughout your treatment with me.
- All areas, products and tools will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, ready for your arrival and treatment.
- The room will be ventilated with an open window throughout the duration of your treatment/service to aid with good ventilation for us.

- Please turn over for massage to commence on your back
- No face covering is required whilst you are face down but will be needed once you are face up
- I will be wearing a sanitised face visor, face mask and apron for each client and for the duration of your appointment

- Please remove shoes before sitting in the makeup chair
- There is a sanitised chair for you to sit in for your makeup application
- I will be wearing a sanitised face visor, face mask and apron for each client and for the duration of your appointment
- I will provide a clean, sanitised set of makeup brushes in a sealed bag for each client
- All makeup is in sealed pouches and in a lidded box
- Makeup that is used on each client is placed into a separate bag and sanitised at the end of each makeup
- Makeup brushes, products, equipment and tools are fully sanitised with appropriate products at the end of each makeup
- I will continually sanitise my hands throughout your appointment with me
