There are so many things about this wedding that I love!
Becky wanted a natural makeup but with a little nod to the 1960’s. We chose a pale pink lip colour, which was a mix of 2 MAC Cosmetics lipsticks – Pretty Please and Lovelorn. A slick of black liner and cluster lashes were added for that 60’s blonde bombshell look.
At her bridal trial, Becky and I bonded over our troublesome skin and challenges with acne, we discovered that our skin and our history of problems were incredibly similar. So much so, that we spent 3 hours together at her trial in Dorset.
A glorious summers day awaited us on the wedding day and I had already been to Beckys parents farmhouse for the trial, so did not need to navigate my way, which was lucky as it was a little tricky to find, but once I found it, oh it what a feast for my eyes. Part of the house was Tudor, I loved it.
One of the biggest surprises I had was meeting Beckys Dad, what a gem to have around on a wedding day. He was a real character and reminded me of Jim Broadbent. He sat chatting with us whilst putting on his yellow socks. The next time I saw him he was wearing his wedding outfit….he was the Vicar!
What about the amazing bridal transport! You can see for yourself how beautiful that was!
A truly wonderful and unique wedding, with so many special details that made it so personal.
